The Living Room is a free, confidential walk-in option for mental health crisis support on the north side of Chicago. It is an entirely peer-led crisis stabilization option as an alternative to psychiatric hospitalization.


Trilogy First-Response Alternative Crisis Team (FACT)

Provides urgent mobile response and interventions, as well as follow-up support, for individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Fact operates in Rogers Park, Edgewater, West Ridge, Uptown, Skokie, and Evanston.

Between Friends is dedicated to preventing domestic violence and ending the cycle of abuse by equipping communities in Chicago with the tools necessary for everyone to feel safe and equal in their relationships. Offers counseling, court advocacy, and crisis intervention services to survivors.

Offers services for anyone requiring support in cases of sexual abuse or domestic violence on a walk-in basis with no appointment needed. Provides crisis intervention, court advocacy, community education, referrals, and other resources.

 

Resilience (Medical and Legal Advocacy)

Highly trained medical advocates are on call 24 hours a day to provide in-person crisis support to survivors of sexual assault and abuse at 15 hospitals located in Chicago. Legal advocates are also available to support in navigating the criminal justice processing or civil remedies. You will receive support regardless of whether or not you choose to report to law enforcement.
